What an experience to step inside the shoes of a client! As the client and the designer, this project was particularly interesting for me. Our wedding was at a camp with an emphasis on the beauty of the natural world. We wanted to highlight our love for nature but also convey that the wedding would be an elegant affair. The Save the Date combined two standard phot0 polymer plates, and a reduction cut from a linoleum block. It took FIVE runs through the press. The rest of the suite was polymer, using my favorite vintage botanicals - all local, in-season flowers. In addition to the printed suite, we printed invitations for the Rehearsal Dinner and Bridesmaids Lunches. Luke and I also made custom stationery for our wedding party and friends/family who played a significant role in the wedding. For the wedding weekend, we created weekend schedules and welcome notes.
