Lanier and Edward planned a wedding in Lanier's hometown in Birmingham. They had a traditional Episcopal service in the same church Lanier was baptized in and then a festive reception in an art gallery space downtown. The feeling was an Urban Forest - lots of beautiful greenery. She wanted invitations that felt simple and playful. She loved this hand-drawn green leaf, and it became a common motif throughout the suite.
